Sip & Clay: A Holistic Air-Dry Clay Experience with Wine in Berlin
Clay is often seen as a metaphor for the human experience - malleable, fragile yet strong, and capable of being reshaped and renewed through life's pressures. Working with clay can become a way to gently connect with hidden parts of ourselves and our inner emotions.
In this workshop, we slow down, pour a glass of wine, and allow our hands to guide us into a quiet conversation with the material. Working with air-dry clay becomes more than modelling a form - it becomes a way of reconnecting with parts of ourselves that often remain unspoken.
Clay is one of the most forgiving mediums. It welcomes mistakes, invites play, and holds the memory of every touch. As we shape it, we begin to notice how it shapes us in return - revealing emotions, tension, intuition, and creativity just beneath the surface.
You will leave not only with your own clay piece, but with a sense of grounding, calm, and creative renewal. During the workshop, you will also learn how to shape and decorate your piece with letters to create a personal message of your own. No prior experience is needed. Small boxes are provided so you can safely transport your clay piece home.
One glass of wine or drink of your choice is included in the price.

Teamevents and groups
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome & Introduction (15 minutes)
We begin with a short introduction to clay, its qualities, the different stages of drying and the tools available. This helps you understand how the material behaves and how to work with it with ease. - Hands-on Creating (90 minutes)
Then we move straight into practice - hands in clay. You'll shape your own unique piece, guided gently but with full freedom to explore your form and ideas at your own pace. - Wrap-up & Take-Home (15 minutes)
Since air-dry clay needs around 24 hours to fully dry, you'll paint your piece at home. We provide a small to-go paint set so you can continue and finish your creation in the following days. Small boxes are also provided for safely transporting your clay piece home.
